Dennis Gavin, President / CEO

Dennis has been around Caledonia Haulers since the company started in 1958. His father, Joe Gavin, was one of the original founders of the company. Dennis started out working in the shop, moved up to driving when he became of age, and then advanced to dispatcher. He became a stockholder in 1985 and then President & CEO in 1995. Dennis Gavin and Bill Koch have been the sole owners of the company since 1995.

Paul "Wally" Gavin, Operations/dispatch

Wally has also been around Caledonia Haulers since he was just a young boy as the son of one of the founders. As you can see from the name, he is the brother of our President/CEO. Starting out as a driver and also converting over our dispatching staff. With excellent customer relations, Wally is an important part of our operations team.

Daryl Pruka, Freight coordinator/dispatch

Daryl is somewhat known as our company prankster: almost always in a good mood and usually smiling. Having the furthest distance to drive, Daryl commutes from Rushford, MN, another rural community. He works well with customers and other team members to insure that our operations work as smoothly as possible. A dedicated office member he can also be found delivering a load if need be.

Aaron has been an employee of Caledonia Haulers for over 10 years. He was a company driver up until July of 2004. Wanting to get out of the truck and spend more time with his young son he moved into the dispatcher roll. He has been a positive addition and welcome member to our office staff.

Zach Mierau, Dispatcher

Zach started as a company driver. His father, a past Caledonia Haulers driver, taught him to drive on weekends. Eventually, Zach went over the road before transitioning into dispatch in 2006. You can find Zach in the dispatch office Friday thru Monday. Being a full time business administration student ,a new husband and new father has kept him very busy this year. He will graduate in the spring of 2007 from Winona State University. He is a upbeat addition and welcome member to our office staff.

Chris Lueck, Dispatcher

After being our 2003 Driver of the Year, Chris joined the dispatch team in the summer of 2007. In addition to being an excellent company driver since 1995 he was also a "driver trainer" for several years. He currently resides with his wife, Connie, in Caledonia. You can often find them at local sports events supporting their favorite teams.

Joel Johnson, Wisconsin Terminal Dispatcher

Joel works out of our Darlington location dispatching around 20 Units. He also helps to manage the drivers and preventative maintenance at that terminal.

Mark is another farm boy from the rural area. He has been with Caledonia Haulers accounting department through many personnel changes. He has the important job of handling all the payables, receivables, ledgers, working trial balances, monthly reports and tax filings.

Vicki Breeser, Accounting/Payroll

Vicki first became familiar with Caledonia Haulers through her husband Russ who has been a mechanic here since 1992. Vicki is considered by many to be the most important member of our office staff. She has the hard roll of calculating and maintaining our payroll system and all of its components. She has also taken on the roll of IT support.

Sherree Cavanaugh, Accounting/Freight Billing

Sherree does all of our freight billing and works daily with Land O'Lakes and our milk plant operation. Sherree was born and raised in the Caledonia farming community and has many strong family ties to the area. She is married to Kurt and has two wonderful little boys at home.

Gary Heberlein, Parts Manager

Gary is one of our longest time employees. He was also born and raised on a working farm in the Caledonia area. Since attending diesel school he has seen and experienced many changes in the trucking industry. He wears many hats performing parts manager duties on a daily basis and also as a part time mechanic and break down troubleshooter. Very dedicated to his job, you can find Gary here most nights and weekends long after others have gone home.

Linda Vinson, Maintenance Manager

Originally from Wisconsin Linda came to to us with the change of the new millennium and moved to Caledonia, MN in 1998. Sharing an office with Gary she works in the maintenance department managing customer accounts and collection, cost/equipment analysis, warranty collection, monitoring shop computers, maintenance programs and diagnostic tools. Linda also administers our Peoplenet gps system and specialty merchandise program. In her off time she enjoys photography, hunting, raising Labrador retrievers and riding Harley's with her husband Brian.

Susie Heaney, Safety Director

Susie came to Caledonia Haulers with industry experience from being the wife of an owner operator. With accounting background and real life skills she has taken over the safety director position very well. She is in charge of keeping current and accurate records on all drivers and personnel. Susie also helps to keep the company compliant with OSHA and the other many governmental rules and regulations our industry faces every day.

Dave Zarwell, Recruitment/ Driver orientation

Dave joined the Caledonia Haulers Team after moving to nearby Eitzen, MN. He does a great job of driver recruiting and can be found at many of the truck shows in the Tri-state area. He also works closely with Susie doing new driver orientation to make sure they get a tour of our facility and a summary of policies.

Darla Hagen, Administrative Assistant

Another local gal, Darla was hired to help carry the load while Sherree was on maternity leave. Sharing an office with Vicki she works closely with payroll, accounting and billing. She can also be found in the maintenance department helping with job orders, data entries, and customer statements. Married to Steve and mother of three, Darla is a woman of many hats, Darla's voice can also be heard answering phones a few times a month. She has been a welcomed addition to a growing administrative workload.
