Detention pay will be paid up front providing it is a customer that pays for detention. Some customers do not pay detention. Dispatch will let you know which customers pay and which ones do not. Dispatch needs to know as soon as possible about the detention but during office hours only. If detention occurs after office hours, the drivers are to inform dispatch immediately in the morning. We also need the detention forms filled out, signed and turned in with your bills. We need this information so we can inform the customer that detention will be charged to them and to ensure that it is a chargeable detention. Detention is paid at a rate of $15.00 per hour with a maximum of $150.00 per 24-hour period. A 3-hour waiting period is allowed after and before any scheduled delivery or pickup time.
Performance Bonus's

Two weeks after second year anniversary
Three weeks after ten-year anniversary

If you have no available vacation time left, you will be charged for excessive time off to cover the cost of health insurance premiums. Drivers will not be charged for things out of company or employee control such as lack of work, etc. Drivers will be allowed 6 days off per month starting on the first day of the month to the last day of the month. These 6 days include your weekends off. You will not be able to carry over any un-used days the following month.
